Land photography, with or
without flash units is very similar to underwater photography. But underwater photography,
both with and without flash units is quite different to land photography.
For underwater
photographers there are some very basic techniques, part of which includes a
good range of land photography skills. These workshops are designed to elevate
your land and underwater photography results. Techno-photography-jargon is kept
to a minimum and explanations are easy for anyone to understand.
With an emphasis on
hands-on training during the workshop and small groups so that you have as much
assistance and attention as possible, you will see your results improve even
before you've finished a workshop module!

Shooting with an underwater compact camera is
becoming very common, but many divers are still mislead to believe that compact
cameras do not produce good results. In proof against this, ALL of Alex's
underwater photos in this site, including his internationally
awarded photos, are taken with
ONLY compact cameras! Take a look at his gallery of
strobeless photography - these
galleries show what can be achieved with no expensive strobes and shooting only
ambient light.
